Information under § 5 DDG

The service provider within the meaning of § 5 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz, DDG) is FR Transfer, Friedrich Mohr Str 14, 56070 Koblenz, Germany. Full contact and register details appear in the two panels above this section.

The DDG replaced the former Telemedia Act (TMG) on 14 May 2024. The required disclosures themselves did not change, but the legal basis is now § 5 DDG rather than § 5 TMG.

Responsible for content

Responsible for the journalistic and editorial content of this website — in particular the blog articles — under § 18(2) of the German Interstate Media Treaty (MStV) is Awab Ahmad, Friedrich Mohr Str 14, 56070 Koblenz, Germany.

We take reports of factual errors seriously and correct them once verified. A short email naming the page is enough.

Liability for content

As a service provider we are responsible for our own content on these pages under general law, in accordance with § 7(1) DDG. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, we are not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.

Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this respect is only possible from the point at which we become aware of a specific infringement. We remove such content promptly once we learn of it.

Details of drive times, distances, terminals and rail or flight connections reflect the position at the time of publication. Timetables, roadworks and terminal assignments change; we accept no liability for the continued accuracy of such third-party information.

Liability for links

Our site contains links to external third-party websites over whose content we have no influence. We therefore cannot accept any liability for that external content. The respective provider or operator of the linked pages is always responsible for their content.

The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking, and no unlawful content was apparent. Permanent monitoring of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement. We remove such links promptly if we become aware of a violation.

Consumer dispute resolution

The European Commission permanently discontinued its Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform on 20 July 2025. A link to it would be pointless from that date onward and has therefore been removed from this imprint.

We are neither obliged nor generally willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG).

That does not rule out resolving matters directly. We handle complaints about a journey ourselves — please describe what happened by email, quoting your booking reference, and we normally reply within a few working days.
