In short: no cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies, uses neither local nor session storage, and embeds no analytics, statistics or marketing tools whatsoever. There is no Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible, Meta pixel or comparable service.
That is also why you see no cookie banner here: there is simply nothing to consent to. A banner shown purely for appearances would be misleading.
Without a booking and without contacting us, your visit therefore generates no personal data records beyond the technically necessary server log files.
Visiting the site and server log files
When you open this website, your browser transmits technically necessary data which the hosting provider records in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, the referrer URL and browser and operating-system identifiers.
This processing is required to deliver the page and to defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the stable, secure operation of the site. These data are not combined with other sources and are not evaluated for marketing purposes.
The website is delivered through a content delivery network. Requests for static pages and images — including via the img.fr-transfer.de subdomain — therefore pass through that provider's servers, acting as our processor.
Booking form and carrying out the journey
When you book a journey we process the details required to carry out the transfer: first and last name, email address, telephone number, pickup and destination address, date and time, any return date, flight number, the number of passengers and items of luggage, the chosen vehicle class, extras such as child seats or a name board, and your preferred payment method.
The flight number is used solely for flight tracking, so that the pickup time shifts automatically if your flight is late. Without it we cannot account for a delayed landing.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — the processing is necessary to perform the transport contract and to take pre-contractual steps such as quoting a price. Without these details a journey can neither be arranged nor carried out.
To perform the journey, the assigned driver receives the details needed for it: name, telephone number, pickup and destination address and, where applicable, flight number and booked extras. No data beyond that is passed on.
Booking system (RideDesk)
Bookings, price calculation and journey management run through the RideDesk dispatch system. The details you enter in the booking form are transmitted to and stored in that system; its operator acts as our processor under Art. 28 GDPR.
A price enquiry alone already transmits the pickup and destination, the date, the vehicle class and the number of passengers, so that a fixed price can be calculated. Your name, email address and telephone number are transmitted only when you actually complete the booking.
Payment is handled either through the booking system's payment provider or directly with the driver, depending on the method you choose. This website neither collects nor stores full card details.
Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect the booking form against automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a service of Cloudflare Inc., which checks whether an entry originates from a human.
For this purpose Turnstile processes technical details of your browser together with your IP address. The service deliberately works without the usual puzzle challenges and, according to the provider, without cookies used to track users.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is in preventing spam and bot bookings that would block genuine journeys.
Google Maps
During the booking process we use Google Maps for address autocompletion and route calculation, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Your input and your IP address are transmitted to Google only once you interact with the address field.
Google Maps is not loaded on the rest of this website — the home page, the route pages or the blog. Anyone who only reads and does not book establishes no connection to Google.
Transfer to third countries, in particular the USA, cannot be ruled out in this context. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR insofar as capturing the address is necessary to prepare the contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Google's own privacy notices apply in addition.
Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp
If you call, write or contact us via WhatsApp, we process the details you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
WhatsApp is a service of WhatsApp Ireland Limited. If you choose that channel, the content and metadata of your message are processed on the provider's servers, outside our sphere of influence. Anyone who prefers to avoid this can reach us equally well by telephone or email.
Retention periods
We keep booking-related data for as long as it is needed to carry out the journey, to answer follow-up questions and to deal with warranty or liability matters.
Documents that also constitute accounting records for tax purposes — invoices in particular — are subject to the statutory retention periods under German commercial and tax law. For accounting vouchers that period was shortened from ten to eight years by the Fourth Bureaucracy Relief Act with effect from 1 January 2025.
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted once the matter is closed and no retention obligation applies.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to obtain information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20).
Where we base processing on a legitimate interest, you may object under Art. 21 GDPR. Any consent you have given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
An informal message to the email address above is enough to exercise these rights. So that we never disclose someone else's journey details, we may ask for proof of identity where there is doubt.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate; you may also contact the authority where you live.
Encryption and updates
This website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted TLS connection, recognisable by the padlock symbol and the https:// prefix in the address bar. Entries in the booking form are protected in transit as a result.
We update this notice whenever the actual processing changes — for instance if a further service is integrated. The version published here is always the authoritative one.
