Messe Stuttgart to Frankfurt Airport is around 203 kilometres and we allow roughly two hours and ten minutes. The car leaves the exhibition grounds at the Flughafen/Messe junction onto the A 8, then swings north onto the A 81 towards Heilbronn.

From the Weinsberg interchange the route runs west on the A 6, picks up the A 67 near Mannheim and finishes northbound on the A 5 to the Frankfurter Kreuz. It is motorway the whole way, with no towns to drive through.

Pickup at the exhibition entrance

You are collected where you are standing: Eingang Ost, Eingang West, outside the ICS congress centre, or at one of the exhibition hotels on the Filder plateau. Name the entrance when you book and the driver goes straight to it.

Move-out days at big shows are busy across the whole site, so we set the pickup time generously — the walk from your stand to the car should not become the tight part of the day.

Arriving at your departure terminal

Messe Stuttgart sits on the Filder plateau right beside Stuttgart Airport, on land belonging to Leinfelden-Echterdingen. Its layout is unmistakable: halls on both sides of the A 8 motorway, linked by a bridge over the carriageways, with the ICS congress centre attached.

Tips for exhibitors and visitors

The A 8 between the fairground and the Stuttgart interchange clogs up reliably at closing time. Where you can, book a pickup before 16:00 or after 19:00 and the drive gets noticeably shorter.
