The route from Frankfurt Airport to the Loreley

Leaving the airport the A 3 heads west before the A 66 takes over towards Wiesbaden. After about 80 kilometres and around 71 minutes the drive ends either on the Loreley plateau or down at the river.

Past Wiesbaden-Biebrich the B 42 begins along the right bank, running downstream through Eltville, Rüdesheim, Assmannshausen, Lorch and Kaub. The finale is the series of bends climbing the rock above Sankt Goarshausen.
