The name lives on in the metro station on line 7, and since 2024 the extended line 14 towards Orly also stops here.

Around the quarter lies a Paris without tourist crowds: the tower blocks of the Triangle de Choisy with the Asian shops along Avenue de Choisy and Avenue d'Ivry, the small-scale Butte-aux-Cailles a little to the north, and just beyond the Périphérique the neighbouring towns of Le Kremlin-Bicêtre and Gentilly.
