From Frankfurt Airport to Hellersdorf
The drive leaves the airport on the A 5 heading north, then follows the A 7 and A 4 past Kassel and Erfurt onto the A 9 towards Berlin. At the ring we take the eastern arc of the A 10 as far as the Berlin-Hellersdorf junction.
From there the B 1/B 5 leads straight into the district. Around 606 kilometres and about six hours, with no changes and no reloading of luggage along the way.
Met with a name sign in Frankfurt
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall of your terminal holding a board with your name, working from your flight's actual landing time rather than the schedule.
So there's no pickup zone to find and no phone call to make after landing. Once you're through baggage reclaim you walk to the car, and from there it's a straight run to Berlin.
Arriving in Hellersdorf
The destination is your own address: a flat in the estates along the U5, a house in Kaulsdorf-Nord, Helle Mitte, or an appointment at the Alice Salomon university.
The benefit shows most clearly late at night. Instead of a ten-minute walk from the U-Bahn station with suitcases, you are set down at the entrance to the building.
About Hellersdorf
Hellersdorf sits on Berlin's eastern rim, where the housing estates give way to Brandenburg. Built largely in the 1980s, it feels spacious – plenty of green between the rows, wide axes, and open country just minutes away.
The Wuhle valley is the landscape highlight: a green corridor with a walking trail that meets the Kienberg and the Gärten der Welt. Climb the hill and you get a view across the whole eastern half of Berlin as far as the TV tower.
Travel tips for your arrival
Addresses in the big estates are hard to pinpoint without a stairwell number. Give us the house number at booking and, if it helps, the nearest cross street or shop.
For arrivals after midnight the transfer wins outright: the U5 runs late but not around the clock, and from the station there is still the walk with luggage.

Transfer, taxi or train from Hellersdorf?
By rail it goes: long-distance station at the airport, ICE to Berlin, U5 across the city to Hellersdorf, then on foot – four separate stages of hauling bags after a long flight. A rental car means driving six hours yourself and then finding a space in a residential estate; a metered taxi over this distance can barely be quoted in advance. With a fixed-price transfer a driver meets you inside the terminal, drives without a single change to the door in Hellersdorf, and the amount was settled before you boarded.

When to set off from Hellersdorf
For the 606 km to Frankfurt your driver allows around 362 minutes of actual driving plus roughly 70 minutes of buffer for rush hour, roadworks and the terminal approach. To make a Schengen flight, that means leaving Hellersdorf about 9 h 12 min before departure; for long-haul and non-Schengen, about 10 h 12 min.
You do not have to do that arithmetic yourself. Enter your departure time and address and the booking form proposes the pickup time — driving time, buffer and terminal lead are already inside it. If you would rather leave earlier, overwrite the suggestion.
In the other direction the arithmetic disappears anyway: for an airport pickup the time hangs on your flight number, not the clock. Your driver tracks the actual landing, and 60 minutes of waiting from touchdown are included.
What the price covers on this route
The fixed price for Hellersdorf – Frankfurt Airport covers all 606 km, plus tolls and road charges en route, the airport access and short-stay parking at pickup. What you pay is settled before you book — there is no meter and no surcharge that only appears as you get out.
The price is independent of the clock as well. The same route costs the same at three in the morning as on a Wednesday afternoon, the same on public holidays as on working days, and there is no demand surcharge during trade fairs. The only things that move it are ones you choose: a stop along the way, a larger vehicle class, or the return leg.
Every passenger is welcome — regardless of background, gender, identity or orientation; our drivers are explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly. Pets travel when the species and size are noted at booking, and guide and assistance dogs with no notice and no surcharge.

How long does the transfer from Frankfurt Airport to Hellersdorf take?
The drive from Frankfurt Airport to Hellersdorf takes about 362 minutes for 606 km in normal traffic. That is measured from the meeting point inside the terminal, not from touchdown.
Where does my driver meet me at Terminal 1 or 3?
The meeting point is the arrivals hall of your terminal — your driver stands just beyond the customs exit holding a name sign and walks you to the vehicle. The terminal follows from the flight number you give when booking, and a diversion to 1 or 3 still gets you found.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Pickup is linked to your flight number and shifts automatically with the actual landing time — at no extra charge. 60 minutes of waiting are included after touchdown so baggage reclaim and passport control are covered.
How much is a transfer from Frankfurt Airport to Hellersdorf?
The fixed price for the 606 km route is shown in the booking form before you book and never changes afterwards — regardless of traffic, time of day, weekday or how long the drive actually takes. It depends on the vehicle class and the distance, not on a meter.
What does the fixed price include?
It covers the 606 km drive, tolls and road charges en route, airport fees, and 60 minutes of waiting from the landing time. The price only moves for things you choose yourself — a stop along the way, a larger vehicle class or a return leg — and each is shown in the form before you confirm.
Does the ride cost more at night or on public holidays?
The fixed price applies whatever the clock says: Hellersdorf – Frankfurt Airport costs the same at three in the morning as on a Wednesday afternoon. There is no night, weekend or holiday surcharge, and no demand pricing during trade fairs. Booking and driving run 24/7.
How much luggage fits in each vehicle?
The sedan classes take 4 large suitcases plus 2 cabin bags; the Business Van takes 12 suitcases plus 5 cabin bags for up to 8 passengers. Declare oversized items such as skis, a golf bag or a pushchair when booking so the right class is dispatched.
Is this a taxi or a chauffeur service?
This is a chauffeur service: the journey is booked in advance, the price is fixed before you book and no meter runs. Your driver wears a suit, greets you by name and helps with the luggage — in the Business and First Class categories it is a limousine service with a Mercedes E- or S-Class. You hail a taxi at a rank; a chauffeur waits for you at the terminal with a name sign. That makes the transfer the fixed-price alternative to a Frankfurt Airport taxi for Hellersdorf.
Transfer or train from Hellersdorf?
The train is cheaper per person, the transfer per vehicle — with two travellers and luggage the comparison usually flips. The transfer covers the 606 km in about 362 minutes with no changes and ends at your address rather than a station; travelling alone with hand luggage and a good connection, the train is often the better call.
Can I travel with a dog or a cat?
Pets are welcome. State the species and size when booking so the right vehicle class is dispatched for Hellersdorf — small animals travel in a carrier in the footwell, larger dogs in the load area of a van. Guide dogs and assistance dogs travel in every vehicle, with no advance notice and no surcharge.
Can I pay the driver by card?
Card payment is accepted directly in the vehicle — as is cash or paying online in advance, and business customers can be invoiced. You receive a receipt with VAT shown either way.
Can I travel with an infant or child seat?
A child seat, booster or infant carrier is selected during booking and fitted by the driver before pickup. State the child's age so the correct size group is installed.
Can I book this transfer for someone else?
The booking runs in the passenger's name rather than the payer's — your guest, client or family member is met at the terminal with a name sign. Payment and the receipt stay with you. Add the passenger's flight number and mobile so flight tracking and contact both work.
Who is the service for?
Every passenger is welcome — regardless of background, gender, identity or orientation. Our drivers are explicitly LGBTQ+ friendly: couples, families of every shape, women travelling alone and guests who need assistance are driven with exactly the same matter-of-factness as anyone else. Discretion is part of a chauffeur service in any case.
