Frankfurt Airport to the Nürburgring
Allow about one hour and 50 minutes for the roughly 162 kilometres from the terminal to the Nürburgring. The car heads north-west on the A 3 through the Taunus, passes Limburg an der Lahn and Montabaur, and switches to the A 48 at the Dernbach interchange.
Beyond Koblenz the road climbs onto the Eifel plateau, and from Kelberg country roads cover the final stretch. Access to the circuit is signposted, though on event days it is managed over a wide area.
Meet and greet in arrivals
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, having tracked your flight before it lands. If the aircraft arrives late, the pickup shifts accordingly.
If you are travelling with a helmet, race suit or spare parts, say so at booking and a vehicle with the right boot space is assigned.
Arriving at the Ring
Your destination can be the paddock, Otto-Flimm-Straße, a hotel in Nürburg or Meuspath, an apartment in Adenau, or a campsite. The driver goes as far in as the barriers of that particular event day permit.
After a long-haul flight the journey therefore ends at your accommodation rather than at a valley station with an uncertain onward connection.
Why travellers come to the Ring
The Nürburgring is a race circuit, a proving ground and a destination all at once. The Nordschleife winds more than twenty kilometres through the forests and ridges of the Eifel, while the Grand Prix circuit has served as its modern counterpart since the 1980s.
Around the site, hotels, guesthouses and campsites are spread across Nürburg, Meuspath, Quiddelbach and Adenau. In event weeks the whole high Eifel fills up; outside them it is remarkably quiet.
Practical notes on arrival
Give us the gate, parking area or camping zone at booking, because that decides how close the car can get. Without it the driver has to stop at the outer barrier.
In winter the last leg from Kelberg can be snow-covered while it is only raining at the airport. We therefore keep the schedule generous and drive the Eifel section with a margin.

Transfer, taxi or train from Nürburgring?
By public transport the Ring is reachable only through several changes plus a regional bus that runs thinly in the evenings and on holidays. A taxi from Frankfurt will drive the 162 kilometres but names the amount only on arrival, and event traffic makes it expensive. A rental car means driving winding Eifel roads yourself immediately after a flight, often in the dark. A fixed-price transfer covers the whole distance from the arrivals hall to the gate, with the amount settled before you even take off.

How long does the transfer from Frankfurt Airport to Nürburgring take?
The drive from Frankfurt Airport to Nürburgring takes about 108 minutes for 162 km in normal traffic. That is measured from the meeting point inside the terminal, not from touchdown.
Where does my driver meet me at Terminal 1 or 3?
The meeting point is the arrivals hall of your terminal — your driver stands just beyond the customs exit holding a name sign and walks you to the vehicle. The terminal follows from the flight number you give when booking, and a diversion to 1 or 3 still gets you found.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Pickup is linked to your flight number and shifts automatically with the actual landing time — at no extra charge. 60 minutes of waiting are included after touchdown so baggage reclaim and passport control are covered.
How much is a transfer from Frankfurt Airport to Nürburgring?
The fixed price for the 162 km route is shown in the booking form before you book and never changes afterwards — regardless of traffic, time of day, weekday or how long the drive actually takes. It depends on the vehicle class and the distance, not on a meter.
How much luggage fits in each vehicle?
The sedan classes take 2 large suitcases plus 2 cabin bags; the Business Van takes 7 suitcases plus 5 cabin bags for up to 8 passengers. Declare oversized items such as skis, a golf bag or a pushchair when booking so the right class is dispatched.
Is this a taxi or a chauffeur service?
This is a chauffeur service: the journey is booked in advance, the price is fixed before you book and no meter runs. Your driver wears a suit, greets you by name and helps with the luggage — in the Business and First Class categories it is a limousine service with a Mercedes E- or S-Class. You hail a taxi at a rank; a chauffeur waits for you at the terminal with a name sign. That makes the transfer the fixed-price alternative to a Frankfurt Airport taxi for Nürburgring.
Can I pay the driver by card?
Card payment is accepted directly in the vehicle — as is cash or paying online in advance, and business customers can be invoiced. You receive a receipt with VAT shown either way.
Can I travel with an infant or child seat?
A child seat, booster or infant carrier is selected during booking and fitted by the driver before pickup. State the child's age so the correct size group is installed.
