Frankfurt Airport to Landshut is 384 kilometres, for which we allow just under 4 hours. The drive starts at the Frankfurter Kreuz on the A3 and runs across Lower Franconia: Aschaffenburg, the Spessart forest, Wuerzburg, then Nuremberg and the Upper Palatinate.

Shortly before Regensburg we leave the A3 for the A93 and the B15, heading south along the Isar through Ergolding and into Landshut from the north, with Burg Trausnitz on the ridge as the landmark that tells you that you have arrived.
