From there the A 9 runs past Dessau and Leipzig, the A 4 heads for Erfurt from the Hermsdorfer Kreuz, and the A 5 continues from the Kirchheimer Dreieck through Bad Hersfeld and Gießen to the Frankfurter Kreuz.
