From Tempelhofer Damm to Frankfurt Airport is about 560 kilometres, with roughly five hours thirty-eight allowed for the drive. The A100 exits on Tempelhof's southern side put the car on the Berlin ring quickly, and from there it is the A9 heading south.

The route continues past Dessau and Leipzig, joins the A4 at Hermsdorfer Kreuz towards Erfurt, and picks up the A5 at Kirchheimer Dreieck for a clean run to the airport exit. Breaks are already inside that timing.

Tips for the drive

The critical stretch is not in Berlin but between Leipzig and the Hermsdorfer Kreuz, where roadworks and commuter traffic regularly eat time. An extra 45 to 60 minutes on top of the recommended check-in time is prudent rather than paranoid on this route.
